PRESENTATION AWARDS
BRAEHEAD SILVER FEATHERIE
Named after the first tee of the historic Leith Links course the Braehead silver featherie is the same design as those on the Summerfield. The original featherie balls were made of leather and stuffed with a " gentleman's top hat full of feathers" they were very expensive and only three could be produced in one day. The brushed effect on the Braehead has been designed to create the appearance of the old featherie ball.

Presented in beautiful packaging with a scroll relating to the history of the featherie ball.

Your choice for display of the Braehead are :

  • Ebonised oak base with sterling silver plaque suitable for personalised engraving.

  • On a hand-turned oak base.

  • An ebonised oak base with sterling silver plaque engraved with the iconic Claret Jug trophy of the British Open.

TURNED SCOTTISH OAK QUAICH
The Quaich, ( Gaelic for "cup" ) is a traditional Scottish drinking vessel known as a cup of friendship and we used to offer a welcome or farewell for guests.
Initially quaichs were made from wood but as they became socially desirable the use of silver was incorporated into the design. Our LSC quaich combines the traditional with the contemporary. The traditional woodcraft of turned oak in this fresh design.
Comes with a scroll with information about the quaich.
Measures 9cm in diameter
